This retreat is not only designed to help you rebalance and rejuvenate but also to teach you how to maintain that balance through your everyday life. Throughout the week we will teach you daily Ayurvedic routines that will help keep balance in your mind, body and soul. You will get a chance to learn what Ayurveda is and what practices to use
During your stay with us, there will be a chance to take daily walks or runs on nearby paths and time to cool off from the heat in our private, saltwater pool.
Bring a good pair of walking shoes or trainers and a swimming costume. There can be a cool wind in the evening so bring a light sweater for some of our evening, outdoor activities.
For your yoga practice, comfortable, soft stretchy, cotton clothing is all you need. We provide all yoga mats and towels, although you are welcome to bring your own! It is also recommended to bring a clean white outfit for your mantra initiation ceremony and for your treatments, please bring old clothing you do not mind getting oil on.
The sun will still be strong, so please protect yourself and bring suntan lotion, as well, mosquito repellent to protect from any bugs. You can also use Rukhsana’s special clove recipe to help keep the bugs off, just ask when you’re here!
We also provide standard soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but if you wish to bring your own please feel free.
Lastly, do not forget to pack any medications you may need or think you may need, we will not be able to provide any over the counter medications to our guests.
Fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) in Mexico by 2pm. Please let us know your flight information 24 hours before arrival so we can come to get you from the airport.
We will be outside waiting with a big yellow scarf! If you are not flying in on the day of the retreat and/or coming from town, please arrive at the center by 4 pm.
The Mexico tourist visa is not required for citizens of Canada or America for a stay up to 180 days.
All travelers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Mexico. However, we strongly recommend traveling with 6 months validity on your passport at all times.
Most destinations, including Mexico, require that you have adequate unused pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in the visas section of your passport before any international travel.
Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Mexico. It may be the case that countries you pass through en route to your destination may require a separate transit visa.
